The lace is only constructed in the front hairline of the wig,their is extra lace out of hairline that can be cut off before applying the wig, Lace front wigs create the appearance of a natural hairline. The other part of cap base of a lace front wig isn’t made of lace, it is constructed with hair weave wefts, it can also be covered with a thicker material that is still comfortable and wearable that is called stretch lace. stretch lace is used to cover weave tracks,hair strands is not tied on the stretch lace.

Lace front wigs are always worn women recent years, but there are a few cons to this type of wig. With the baby hair effect, they can often be issued with the tape or glue that can hold the wig to the front edge of the scalp,the rest of the wig can be hold by combs and clips. This means full lace wigs are a bit more expensive and versatile than lace front wigs, and they can be worn in different hair styles.  A full lace wig covers the entire head and must be attached gently different than a lace front wig. It is better to wear a wig cap especially when applying a full lace wig, since it will cover your whole head and scalp.
